Jason may be President of StepWise Utility Advisors, but that doesn’t keep him from being one of the firm’s primary utility consultants and client advisors.   His professional career has included extensive work with water and sewer utility agencies throughout the US where he has developed water rates, sewer rates, financial plans, utility valuations, cost-of-service allocations, management consulting, and expert witness testimony.  Jason is a certified expert with the public utility commissions of Colorado and Hawaii having been accepted as an expert in water and sewer utility rates in both jurisdictions.  He is a frequent author who publishes a column in the Rocky Mountain AWWA & WEA bi-monthly magazine; he has also published articles in the Journal of the American Water Works Association and has been a featured speaker at both national and regional industry conferences.
